Your UWG registration will enable you to reserve our special discounted rates at Kalahari and to participate in all UWG events. Registration fees are per family. Registration is not complete until payment is made. You should be redirected to the registration page from Paypal. If you do not get automatically redirected after your payment, click on the “Return to Merchant” link and you will be directed to the registration page.
After registering for the conference you’ll need to contact the Kalahari to make your room reservations. The Kalahari subsidizes our conference based on the number of rooms booked by our group, so we require that our conference attendees stay at the resort (for more info on room rates click here). Upon completion of the conference registration process, you’ll be directed to a page that will give you information about reserving your room(s) at the Kalahari at our discounted rates.
Conference Registration is a MULTI-PART PROCESS.
To be fully registered you must:
1) CLICK THE PAYPAL link below and complete the Paypal payment process. WAIT TO BE REDIRECTED to the ‘SUBMIT REGISTRATION INFORMATION’ page at the UWG website.
NOTE: If Paypal doesn’t automatically redirect you, look on the Paypal page for the “Return to Merchant” link. Click it to be directed to the registration information form. If you get an error message, please email email@example.com and we’ll help you finish your registration. In 2017, the form would not work on some mobile devices.
2) COMPLETELY FILL OUT and SUBMIT the registration information on the form. You’ll be given the opportunity to express interest in volunteering when you register. This is not a commitment, but will add you to the early, priority sign-up period for volunteer time slots. For more information about the volunteering opportunities you can click here.
If you’ve SUCCESSFULLY registered you SHOULD RECEIVE TWO CONFIRMATION EMAILS:
1-FROM PAYPAL and 1-FROM WORDPRESS with the subject: Registration Submission.
If you DON’T RECEIVE TWO Confirmation emails, it’s possible one or both of them were caught in your Spam filter. Check your Spam folder and if you haven’t received them both, please contact Karen Beaton @ firstname.lastname@example.org.
3) Once you’ve completed the conference registration process on the UWG website, you’ll see a registration confirmation screen that will provide additional details about making your room reservations with the Kalahari. Don’t forget this very important step!!

2018 UWG Registration Fee Schedule:
$50/family Early Bird registration fee until midnight EST, January 21st.
Regular online registration will be $70 per family and will be open from January 22nd to April 21st, 2018.
Onsite registration is available during the conference for $90 per family.
Please be aware that even though it will be possible to register onsite, the Kalahari subsidizes our conference based on the number of rooms booked by our group, so we require that our conference attendees stay at the resort even if they plan to register for the conference onsite. Registration fees are non-refundable.
Participation in any event, funshop or activity at UWG is voluntary and entirely at your own risk. Participants acknowledge that the organizers of Unschoolers’ Waterpark Gathering and their agents will not be held liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from participating in this event.
