Fairy Godparents is a reciprocal game played for the duration of the conference. Participants will secretly exchange names with other participants and spend the week doing things to make their Fairy Godchild feel special.
The gallery is a casual meeting place where people can gather for informal chats, to meet friends, or just relax. We encourage all families to bring something that represents their unschooling life to display in the gallery. This year our Teen Art Gallery will also be here. Teens will have access to art supplies during a few designated times and they can display their finished artwork for the rest of the week in this Gallery.

Henna Fun Night
Join us for an evening of Mehndi, the application of henna as a form of temporary skin decoration. Henna and temporary tattoos will be provided. Our Family Movie Night will be running concurrently in an adjoining room, to make it easier for kids and parents to remain in contact.
We will be showing two family-friendly movies in the ballroom. Movies for 2020 TBA
Just bring your musical instruments, and we’ll make sure you get your time in the spotlight! All ages and levels of musical talent are welcome.
Of course you can dress however you’d like during the entire conference, but we are dedicating a whole day to cosplay and encouraging everyone to bring a costume! All are encouraged to dress as their favorite character for the day. After a day of fun in your favorite costume, there will be an official costume contest.
This is an opportunity for kids to set up their own marketplace and refine their entrepreneurial skills. No pre-registration is necessary. Tables will be provided for children and youth. Bring your wares and some change. Sorry, but no food sales are permitted.
A great opportunity for kids and parents to express their talents. All ages and all talents are welcome!
Join us for a NERF Blaster Funshop! We will be playing family friendly games like Capture the Flag and Last One Standing, where everyone will shoot and be shot. Bring your favorite LABELED blasters. All participants are expected to have a red AND a blue shirt for team assignments. All ammo will be supplied by the host, and no ammo will leave the playing area.
