Lodging AT THE KALAHARI RESORT.

All accommodations and UWG events will take place at Kalahari Indoor Waterpark Resort in Sandusky, Ohio, America’s largest Indoor Waterpark. The resort is one of Ohio’s largest hotels and convention centers, with 890 rooms, 4 restaurants, a huge arcade, a spa and salt room, a fitness center, mini golf, laser tag, escape room, a 7-D Motion Theater, and a Build-A-Bear workshop. The indoor waterpark includes a lazy river ride, a wave pool, giant water slides, an indoor/outdoor hot tub, a swim-up bar and more.

The conference runs from Monday at 1pm until Thursday at 11:59pm. Many people stay Thursday night so they can attend our big final event, the family dance!!

You must be registered for the conference to book a room. You will be sent a unique link to book your room in your registration confirmation email.

UWG Group Rate & ROOMS INFO

The following rates are valid: Sunday, May 19th to Friday, May 24th, 2024.
You must make your reservation prior to April 19th, 2024 to be eligible for these rates.
Also, be aware that we only have a limited number of rooms available to our group at the discounted rate and it’s possible that they can sell out, for one or more of the conference nights, prior to the April 19th deadline. So, the earlier you make your reservations, the better chance you’ll have of getting the discounted rate for your entire stay.
In the past, it’s been possible to cancel or change your reservation up to a couple days prior to your arrival for a small fee. (Check with the Kalahari when you make your reservations about this year’s policy.)
Be aware that while tax will be added to the room rates below, you should not be charged any additional resort fees. There has been some confusion about this in the past on the part of some of the Kalahari staff so make sure that you double check this when making your reservation
All rooms come with waterpark passes as indicated below. If you need more waterpark passes than those allotted with your room type, then you have the option of upgrading to a larger accommodation or purchasing additional passes. Double Queen Sofa Room
$134 + tax per night

Two queen-size beds and a sleeper sofa
4 Waterpark Passes (an extra fee for passes will be charged for the 5th & 6th person)
Max 6 guests.
Note: the double queen sofa room is very distant from the Convention Center where the UWG activities are being held. The remaining rooms and suites are more convenient.
